Providence Day School
Founded in 1970, Providence Day School is an independent, coeducational college preparatory school located on a 43.5 acre-campus in southeast Charlotte, North Carolina. The school has been cited for excellence by the U.S. Department of Education, the College Board Advanced Placement Program, the National Council of Teachers of English and the Tandy Technical Scholars Program, Providence Day School offers a traditional college preparatory program of studies.
Providence High School
Providence High School, located in suburban South Charlotte, currently serves more than 2000 students. We have a rich tradition of excellence which began when the school opened in August 1989. In addition to the main building, the campus includes a technical building, a greenhouse, and a gym which houses a swimming pool. The grounds are comprised of a football stadium, baseball stadium, practice fields, tennis courts, softball field and outdoor track facilities.
Providence is ranked in the top 5% of all comprehensive high schools in the state of North Carolina.
