Palisades country club Charlotte NC has three public schools close to the Palisades, The Palisades Park Elementary School (Grades K-5), Southwest Middle School (Grades 6-8), and Olympic High School (Grades 9-12). It has been rumored that the Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system will break ground on the new Palisades Park High School in January of 2019. The Palisades’s closest private schools are Palisades Episcopal School (Grades JK-8), Gaston Day School (Grades K3-12), and St. Anne Catholic School (Grades K3-12). The most exciting development is the fact that the development of the new Palisades High School, which will be located at 15221 York Road, Charlotte, NC 28278, is about to break ground and is slated for opening in August 2022.
Not far from the Palisades is the Rivergate shopping center and an array of bars, restaurants, as well as retail stores like Old Navy, Target, Marshalls, Best Buy. Furthermore, Carolina Place Mall and SouthPark Malls are also just a short drive from the community.
